NEWS
Hi everyone,
Welcome to our autumn programme! Maybe we will have some Lovely late summer weather. But if not… Michelle and I are looking at a possible retreat in warmer climes next year. Find details below about how to express interest in this.
Annette will be teaching a workshop on 26 October for Pilates teachers. The subject is hyper mobility. Her extensive experience and knowledge of this area and how to apply that in the Pilates setting will be invaluable to any teacher.
Feldenkrais on Saturday mornings will continue from 7 September.
Our next matwork teacher training course is delayed until next year. If you are interested in teacher training you can download the brochure here

What the retreat would more than likely include:

5/7 nights accommodation
-
All meals included - nourishing fresh, local food
-
Twice daily Pilates, Feldenkrais & Movement Classes
-
Local excursions (e.g bike-riding, cooking class etc.)
-
Spa & Pool on-site
-
Nature walks, beach & plenty of down-time to rest and rejuvenate.
Indicative cost: £1400 - 2000 p.p.
Indicative timings: May 2025 or September 2025
If this is something you are interested in joining and would be happy to commit a £750 deposit by December 2024 can you fill in this form with your expression of interest or let Vanessa/Michelle know in the studio. Please feel free to share with anyone else you think might be interested.
Of course, this is just an expression of interest so if circumstances change we most definitely won’t be holding you to your expression.

- the impact of comorbid conditions (POTS, MCAS and fatigue disorders) on Pilates repertoire choices
- why some traditional Pilates cues may be inappropriate (and alternative options) for specific issues (including shoulder instability and sacroiliac issues)
- when it is safe or advisable to work into the hypermobile range
Annette is an osteopath and Pilates teacher with over 20 years in practice, specialising in hypermobility/EDS and related conditions. Booking will be open shortly - to pre-register please email annette@performosteopathy.co.uk.
